We were joined by pediatrician/child health advocate Dr. Irwin Redlener on January 17, 1996.  He is the president and co-founder of the Children's Health Fund - the nation's largest health care provider to homeless children.  Dr. Redlener left his practice to focus on policy to help more children.  He was featured on Oprah's December 20, 1995 show "Oprah's Children: Families Living on the Edge" as an authority on children's health and poverty.  Dr. Redlener founded CHF in 1987 with singer/songwriter Paul Simon.
